Florence overview - street life

There is so much beauty in Florence, and so many pictures to take that I got behind in my postings. So instead of presenting Florence in the chronological order of our visit, I have arranged for a series of thematic photo postings.

This first one gives a general overview of our walks through the city, with all the beautiful and lively streets.

Enjoy!

On the Ponte Vechhio

We decided against re-mortgaging the house to buy jewelry on the Ponte Vecchio
At least he knows about the expensive stuff
Lots of bicycles in Florence
More bikes on a busy street
Covered passageway leading to Ponte Vecchio

Hand-waiving dolls
Death by chocolate at Venchi
Love these three-wheeled delivery trucks!
Lots of narrow streets

And steep ones

More old and narrow streets
In the leather market

Leading to the Palazzio Vecchio
Covered passageway viewed from across the Arno
