Fun times in Florence

Just in case people are wondering, here's a quick post to show that we are having a great time in Italy. It means, in part, lots of good food and good wines.

The mornings in Florence started with coffee on our tiny balcony with a view of the Duomo.

Lovely to be able to see a sliver of the Duomo.

Our apartment was centrally located and quite comfortable, and was an ideal meeting point for further explorations.

Lunch in Mercato Centrale was delicious. Fresh produces and wide variety of options available from the various vendors.

Gelato was a given once or twice a day, and always excellent. This one was okay and expensive, but the view....

Dinner with friends in an authentic local restaurant, with delicious food.

Fish anyone?

And a final glass of wine on the balcony to wrap up the evening.
