Sculptures at the Uffizi Gallery

The Uffizi Gallery has some very interesting sculptures in addition to the (boring to some) busts of Roman emperors. Some are Renaissance copies of antique sculptures. It is interesting in itself to see these reproductions and variations on classical themes.

Laocoön and his Sons being attacked by the sea serpent. The original found in 1506 is now at the Vatican Museum.
Hercules and Nessus.
Apollo the god of music. Kind of reminds me of myself in my youth...
Early version of yoga in the morning?
Sleeping Ariadne. I too could take a nap.
Roman sarcophagus.
I like this bust of Socrates. It feels very normal, not idealized.
